Catering & Events

Wright on Thyme OBX Catering is now offering you the opportunity to make your event truly special.  Whatever the occasion, we are proud to bring you our “Right place, Right time” excellence in local cuisine with world flavors, professional service, and guest satisfaction. 

Our menu items offer a variety of options, and special requests and themed menus can be discussed. Our focus is on the use of fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, and partnering with some other local artisanal businesses to provide you with the premier culinary experience on the OBX.   If you do not care for what we are offering we will be more than happy to suggest other local businesses that may be better suited to take care of your needs.

About the Chef

Chef Kenny McLean graduated top of his class with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1997. He has won multiple awards on the Outer Banks over the years, including the prestigious Taste of the Beach event. With over 30 years of experience in the Food Service and Hospitality Industry, he has also cooked alongside more than 40 James Beard Award-Winning Chefs at multiple James Beard Foundation events. The Chef and his team at Wright on Thyme OBX Catering look forward to working for you, and with you, to host your special event on the Outer Banks.
